钱南园是清代乾嘉年间滇籍历史文化名人,诗文书画皆擅。其诗、书、画已引起学界关注,其文则不为人熟知。通览其文,主要有政论、序跋、祝寿文、墓志铭、书札等类型,大都关注现实,质朴自然,富有情思,一股清正之气灌注其中,隐约可见孟子、贾谊、王荆公以及桐城诸家的精气神和法度技法,乾嘉时代的"质实"风尚以及从边地高原走进中原、深受儒家正统思想影响的边疆士子个性色彩也在这些文赋中留下了丰富的印记,具有较高的认识价值与文化意义。

Qian Nanyuan is a famous historical and cultural celebrity of the Qing Dynasty.He is an expert in Poetry and calligraphy.Its poetry,articles,paintings have attracted academic attention,however the text is not well known.Throughout his literary works,mainly political,preface and postscript,article of congratulation,epitaph,correspondence and other categories,mostly concerned about the reality,nativety and natural,full of emotion,a clear gas filling them,vaguely visible Mencius,Jia Yi,Wang Anshi and Tongcheng’s Spirit and law techniquesT of their literature.＂real＂fashion of the Qianjia era and and from the edge of the plateau into the Central Plains,individual personality of the scholar in border area by the Confucian orthodox ideology also left a wealth of imprint in these text,with a high understanding of the value and historical significance.
