Asparagus is rich in nutrition, and it has been regarded as ＂the king of vegetables＂. There are unique advantages in the production of asparagus in Shandong province, which has achieved good industrial benefits, after decades of development. In the paper, the author analyzed the urrent situation and existing problems of asparagus in the development of modern agriculture, the development strategy had been discussed, in order to further improve the sustainable development of asparagus industry.
