Analysis on the STARTALK Training Program in America and Its Inspiration——through TROY-STARTALK Program

美国"星谈"项目在教师培训和学生培训方面,形成了一整套理论体系和行为准则。特洛伊大学"星谈"汉语培训项目运行模式为:以5C和三种交际模式为标准;采用沉浸式教学;语言教学和文化体验有机结合;教师学员和学生学员结对子;注重实践教学和反馈。"星谈"项目以其标准化、灵活性、系统化、规范化、理论化和实践性等特点成为全美外语培训的标杆,也对我国外语教学培训有所启示。

STARTALK Training Program in the USA has formed a set of theoretical system and standards of conduct in terms of teachers training program and students training program. TROY -STARTALK Chinese Pro- gram is an example, which has got great success and popularity in recent years with its characteristics, like im- mersion program, combining language and culture, group work between teachers trainee and students trainee, practice and feedback, etc. STARTALK Program＇ s characteristics of standardization, flexibility, systematies, theory and practice not only set a good example and have a great influence in the fields of foreign language train- ing in the USA, but also have some inspiration in China＇ s foreign language training program.
