随着文化全球化时代的到来,翻译在跨文化传播中发挥着越来越重要的作用。从本质上来看,翻译是一种语言转码活动,同时也是一种文化传播活动,具有跨文化传播的属性。基于翻译与跨文化传播的共同特征,从翻译目的、翻译主体、翻译原则和翻译策略四个方面分析翻译对于跨文化传播的作用,探讨翻译的跨文化传播属性,指出翻译是文化传播的桥梁与纽带,同时也是文化传播的催化剂与整合剂。
