文峰塔出土青铜器铭文中的“保”字

The "Bao(保) " in the Inscription on the Bronze(M52:3)Unearthed from the Wenfeng Tower

文峰塔出土青铜簠（M52：3）铭文中被释为“孟”的字,与徐家岭楚墓出土的曾国青铜簠（M9：15）铭中被释为“[女孟]”的字写法相同。我们认为它们是从“保”省声,是古代官名女保的专用字。

There is a inscription on the bronze（MS2：3） unearthed from the Wenfeng tower, which had been translated as ＂meng（孟）＂, while there is another ＂meng（[女孟]）＂ in the inscription on the Zeng bronze（M9：15） unearthed from the tomb of xujialing ,they are written as the same. I think these two ＂meng＂s are the specific names of the official titile for the female maid.
