“陰”字异构补释

Supplementary Interpretation on the Isoform of "Yin(陰)" in Ancient Chinese Characters

依据近年新出清华简和北大筒中“陰”字的特殊写法,通过文字构形理据以及相关出土文献的再分析,本文认为古文字材料中的“陰”字应该还存在“[云山]”、“[今山]”和“[阝今山]”三种从山的异构。“[今山]”从山从今今亦声,和“[云山]”一样都是覆陰之“陰”的专字。从古文字材料中爬梳出“陰”字已经消亡的异构写法十分珍贵,对理解古人原始的陰陽观也有重要意义。

Based on the special writing of ＂yin（陰）＂ in recent Qinghua University bamboo slips and Beijing University bamboo slips, this paper re-analysed the text structural prineipium and relevant unearthed documents, and proposed that ＂yin＂ in the ancient literary materials has three other iso- forms [云山],[今山] and [阝今山], all of which share the radical ＂shan（山）＂. The glyph of [今山] contains the symbols shan（山） and jin（今） , and the pronunciation is derived from今. [今山] and [云山] were both particularly used in fuyin（覆陰）. It is very valuable to delve the heterogeneous writing of the wiped-out character ＂yin＂ from the ancient writing materials, which is very important to understand the primitive yin （陰） and yang（陽） concept of the ancients in the mean time.
