高觉敷先生作为我国第一代心理学家,见证了中国心理学70载发展历程(1923—1993),被誉为"心理学一代大师""心理学史一代宗师",对国内外心理学研究成果的介绍和推广都起了举足轻重的作用。高老一生主治心理学史,对中外心理学史有着系统、深入的研究,对麦独孤的心理学、弗洛伊德的精神分析、华生的行为主义、格式塔心理学、勒温的拓朴心理学、皮亚杰心理学和中国古代心理学思想尤其有深入研究。他还终身关注理论心理学研究,对教育心理、发展心理、人格心理与社会心理也有涉猎。高老的影响超出了心理学的范围,在教育、哲学、文学等社会人文科学领域均有很大的影响,不愧为一代文化名流。

As the first generation of Chinese psychologist, Mr. Gao Juefu witnessed the 70 years（1923-1993） of development of psychology study in China. He played an important role in introducing and promoting the psychological research achievements both at home and abroad and was honored as ＂the Master of Psychology＂and ＂the Grandmaster of the History of Psychology＂. Throughout his life, Mr. Gao mainly focused on domestic and foreign history of psychology which he had studied in a systematic and in-depth manner. Meanwhile, he was notably adept in the psychology by Mc Dougall, psychoanalysis by Freud, behaviourism by Waston, gestalt psychology, topological psychology by Lewin, Piaget psychology and psychology in ancient China. During his lifetime, he also paid much attention to theoretical psychology study including educational psychology, developmental psychology, personality psychology and social psychology. The influence of Mr. Gao went beyond psychology, which also extents in fields like education, philosophy, literature and humanities. Therefore, he was honored as one of the most famous scholars in his generation.
