摘要
为探索新疆少数民族大学生写作中的产出性词汇复杂性和多样性的性别差异情况,本研究对学生进行了为期一年的写作跟踪,并借助RANGE32和SPSS21对学生作文进行分类对比分析。研究发现,经过一年的英语学习,学生第二次写作中的词汇复杂性要明显高于第一次,并且男生的词汇复杂性的增加程度稍高于女生;除了在"以上范围外的词汇"这个词频级,男生的词汇多样性发展不存在显著差异以外,在其他各个词频级,无论男生还是女生的产出性词汇多样性发展均存在显著性差异。同时,只有在"以上范围外的词汇"这个词频级,女生的产出性词汇多样性发展快于男生;在其他词频级,男生的产出性词汇多样性的发展速度则超过女生。由此本研究多角度分析成因并提出相应的教学策略。
In order to explore the gender differences in the complexity and diversity of productive vocabulary in the writing of ethnic minority students in Xinjiang,this study has taken one year tracing the students' writing.By RANGE32 and SPSS21,the paper classifies and analyzes the composition.It is found that after one year of English learning,the students' lexical complexity in the second writing is significantly higher than that of the first time,and the lexical complexity of the male students is slightly higher than that of the female students.Apart from the frequency of "in addition to",there is no significant difference in the development of lexical diversity among the male students.As for the frequency of other vocabulary,there is no significant difference in the development of lexical diversity between the male and female students.At the same time,only in the frequency of "above the scope of the word",the female students' productive vocabulary diversity develop faster than the male students';in other words' frequency,the male students' productive vocabulary diversity develops faster than the female students'.Consequently,this study undergoes a multi-angled analysis of the causes and puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies.
