Tianjin′s Contribution to Chinese Modern Legal Construction

清末民初的天津在法学高等教育、司法审判改革、司法考试制度与监狱改革等法制建设的重要方面,处于全国法制改革、先行先试的地位,为中国近代法制建设摸索了改革路径,提供了改革样板,积累了大量可复制可推广的经验做法,推动了近代中国法制改革由点到面的建设进程,为中国近代法制建设做出了重要贡献。

Tianjin has been in the leading position in the modern legal system construction such as the higher legal education,judicial reform,judicial examination system reform,prison reform and other important aspects during Late Qing Dynasty and Early Republic of China.Tianjin explored the reform path,provided the model of reform,and accumulated a large number of experience practices which could be replicated and promoted,promoted the construction process from one unit to a whole area.From the above aspects,Tianjin has made great contribution to the construction of legal system in modern China.
