《菜根谭》为明人洪应明所著,是一部内容丰富,充满智慧和哲理的经典古籍。作为儒学经典,菜根谭中有大量的儒家文化负载词,而这些负载词在不同译本中却有着不同的翻译。文章通过《菜根谭》原文中出现频率最高的三个词"心""天""君子"为例,考察了蒋坚松译本中儒家文化负载词的翻译策略和方法。

Cai Gen Tan, written by Hong Yinming of the Ming Dynasty, is a classic full of wisdom and philosophical mottoes. There are abundant culture-loaded terms of Confucianism, which were translated into varied English expressions by different translators.With＂xin＂＂tian＂＂junzi＂——the three Confucian terms most frequently used in Cai Gen Tan as the examples, the paper analyzed the translation tactics and the methods of culture-loaded terms by Mr. Jiang Jiansong.
