On the basis of introducing the current situation and existing problems of iron ore import trade in China,this paper analyzes the main influencing factors of China＇s iron ore import trade, and probes into the strategies and suggestions for the development of iron ore import trade. Iron ore is an important raw material of iron and steel industry in the basic industry of the industrial system. The healthy and stable development of its import trade is of great significance to the safety of China＇s iron ore supply.
