Analysis of Highly Cited Researchers and Highly Cited Papers in LIS Based on Clarivate Analytics and InCites

通过对Clarivate Analytics公司发布的2016年度全球"高被引科学家"名单进行分析,统计出社会科学领域的高被引科学家及学科分布。采用社会网络分析法,对2004-2014年In Cites图书情报学科被引频次前1%的论文作者进行分析,统计出10位图书情报学科的高被引科学家的成分分布,发现这些高被引科学家中跨学科作者多于单独图书情报学科作者。通过中心性分析发现,单纯图书情报学科高被引科学家在点度中心性和中间中心性中均表现不佳,仅在按成分划分的接近中心度中表现出色。最终指出了图书情报学科作者的努力方向。

The 2016 Highly Cited Researchers （HCR） list published by Clarivate Analytics included the HCR in the field of social science. The authors of the first 1% highly cited papers in Library and Information Science （LIS） of InCites from 2004 to 2014 were collected and analyzed using Social Network Analysis （SNA）. The components correspond- ing to the 10 HCR were analyzed. Interdisciplinary HCR were more frequent than those solely in LIS. According to the centrality analysis, the degree of centrality and Freeman betweenness centrality of HCR solely in LIS were not very high as compared to those of interdisciplinary HCR. Finally, the way to HCR was pointed out for LIS authors.
