威斯康星思想与我国地方本科院校师资转型发展

摘要 威斯康星思想是美国威斯康星州立大学在20世纪初所倡导并发展起来的基于社会服务的办学理念,其核心是:高校只有通过主动与地方经济社会进行有效对接,才能实现自身的可持续发展.这一思想为我国地方本科院校师资队伍的转型发展提供了可借鉴的路径.首先,地方本科院校要转变思想,走出"象牙塔",充分融入社会;其次,搭建产教融合、校企合作平台,培养教师的实践能力;再次,鼓励教师应充分利用自身的聪明才智为地方政府决策提供信息和咨询服务;最后,积极探索多样化的应用型人才培养模式,构建基于地方需求的人才培养方案. "Wisconsin Idea" signifies a general principle of using university resources to address societal issues. Created and developed by Wisconsin University in the middle of 19th century, the idea advocates the university's commitment to public service, believing that only in its active and effective interaction with the surrounding communities, could the local university achieve its sustainable development. This concept offers a possible solution to the teachers' transformational development of China's local universities. First, local universities should change their traditional ideas and encourage teachers to go out of the "ivory tower" to get fully integrated into the society. Second, platforms should be set up for the cooperation between local universities and enterprises to improve teachers' practical ability through the integration of production and education. Third, teachers should be encouraged to give full play to their own knowledge and wisdom by providing information and advisory services for local government decision- making. Last, local universities should explore the diversified application - oriented talents training mode and develop talent training programs according to local needs.
