On the Significance of Zhu Xi's Final Verdict in His Later Years as Ideological Construction

王阳明在龙场悟道之后,思想日趋成熟,实现了和朱子之学的分道扬镳。但是,从当时的处境来说,阳明面临着极为严重的问题,即朱子与朱子学的强大的影响力。从元代开始,朱子学被定为官学;在王阳明的那个时代,这是整个社会的思想基础。也就是说,朱子学是最普遍的思想形态,在某种意义上就是当时的真理。阳明学在这种状态下,怎么赢得自己生存的空间?《朱子晚年定论》即用以调和与朱子学之间存在的冲突情形。因此,从思想史层面探讨阳明之编《朱子晚年定论》,有助于凸显其对阳明学发展的特殊意义。

After Wang Yangming＇s enlightenment in Longchang,Guiyang,he showed a different way from Zhuxi＇s. However,he faced a very serious problem at the time,that is,the powerful influence of Zhuxi and Zhuxi＇s School. From the Yuan Dynasty,Zhuism was appointed as an official school,and in the time of Wang Yangming,it was the ideological basis of the whole society. In other words,Zhuxi＇s teachings are the most common forms of the thoughts,in a sense,the truth at that time. Howto acquire his own survival space is a big challenge and also important for the spread of teachings. Zhu Xi＇s Final Verdict in His Later Years is used to reconcile the conflict between Zhuxi and Yangming. Therefore,it is helpful to highlight the special significance for the development of Yangming＇s teachings from the perspective of thoughts history and to discuss the compilation of Zhu Xi＇s Final Verdict in His Later Years by Wang Yangming.
