基于语料库的雅思写作VSMCE教学模式初探

A Study on Corpora-based VSMCE IELTS Writing Teaching Model

高校中外合作办学兴起,越来越多的中国学生参加雅思考试,雅思课程纳入了中外合作项目日常教学计划中。参加雅思考试的中国学生写作不尽人意,成绩低于全球平均水平。利用现有的目的语语料库及学习者语料库,构建由词汇学习、句式学习、素材积累、作文改错以及习题试题编制等组成的VSMCE教学模式,让学生得到充足的地道英语输入,创造更多本土英语语言文本学习机会,进而提高中国考生的雅思写作水平。

As the popularity of Sino-foreign cooperative education, more and more students take part in the IELTS. IELTS courses become a part of normal curriculum. However, those students who take the IELTS behave unsatisfactorily in the writing section, with scores below the average global level. By making use of the native English Corpora and English-learners Corpora, a teaching model composed of vocabulary learning,sentence patterns learning, material accumulating, composition correction and exercises(exams) setting is established to offer sufficient idiomatic English input and create more chances for students to learn native English texts, which improves the IELTS writing level gradually.
