The operating conditions of Pudong Railway on the 1st phase are introduced,characters and demands of passenger flow of Pudong Railway are analyzed and predicted, the operation scheme for suburban railways in Pudong Area is proposed. Then, the carrying capacity of the parallel train diagram of Pudong Railway is calculated, the matching program of which is analyzed. Finally, the possibility of increasing the number of suburban trains on the 1st phase of Pudong Railway is discussed.
