摘要
EoC(Ethernet Over Coax)技术是基于广电同轴电缆网络实现双向改造的技术。文章在广电宽带提速和技术演进的背景下,分析了广电网络EoC接入网技术的发展现状和业务承载需求,提出EoC技术演进的必要性,同时对近年来涌现的EoC技术进行比较分析,并从技术标准选择、网络管理、设备规格3个方面对EoC技术发展思路进行了探讨。
EoC(Ethernet Over Coax) technology is a two-way service access technology based on radio and television coaxial cable network. In the background of broadband speed increase and technological evolution of radio and television, this paper analyzes the development status and service load demand of EoC access network technology in radio and television networks, puts forward the necessity of the evolution of EoC technology. At the meantime, the paper also makes a comparative analysis of the emerging EoC technologies in recent years, and discusses the development of EoC technology from 3 aspects: technical standard selection, network management and device specification.
