An Exploration of the Migration Route of Ancient Jiang Country in Xia,Shang and Zhou Dynasties

江姓起源可以追溯到夏初,那时的"封国"其实就是依照地名命名的部落,而且在经常迁徙的过程中仍然沿用原来的名字。江、邛、鸿等指称地名时实际上是同一个字。河南正阳的古江国只是周代诸侯国,商代江国应位于今夏邑县北,夏代江国应位于当时的"江"(今山东沂河)一带。

Origin of surname Jiang can be traced back to the early Xia dynasty. At that time,the state was actually the tribe named after the place name,and in the process of frequent migration,the original name is still used.Jiang,Qiong,Hong are actually the same word when used as place names. The ancient Jiang country in Zhengyang,Henan province,is only a vassal state of Zhou Dynasty. Jiang country of Shang dynasty should be located in the present north area of Xiayi County. Jiang country of Xia dynasty should be located in the temporal area of"Jiang"( now the East Yi River in Shandong).
