Review of the study on compassion fatigue among nursing staffs

共情疲劳是助人者向救助对象提供援助的过程中因共情投入而遭受到二次创伤或卷入性体验,导致助人者对其救助对象的共情能力和兴趣降低,对助人工作产生倦怠感,并伴生一系列身心不适症状。本研究综述了共情疲劳的概念、症状表现以及评估工具,并对护理人员产生共情疲劳的因素进行了分析,旨在预防共情疲劳的发生,提升护理人员职业满意度。

Compassion fatigue,also known as secondary traumatic stress( STS),is a state experienced by those helping people or animals in distress; it is an extreme state of tension and preoccupation with the suffering of those being helped to the degree that it can create a secondary traumatic stress for the helper. Sufferers can exhibit several symptoms including hopelessness,a decrease in experiences of pleasure,constant stress and anxiety,and a pervasive negative attitude physically and mentally. This paper reviewed the concept the compassion fatigue,symptoms and evaluation tools. The potential issues causing compassion fatigue among nursing staffs were also analyzed,in order to prevent compassion fatigue and improve the experiences of occupational satisfaction.
