Detection and application of procalcitonin——interpretation for Expert Consensus on Clinical Significance Interpretation of Infection-related Biomarkers

检测感染相关生物标志物可辅助诊断感染性疾病,并在指导抗生素的使用和判断患者的预后等方面发挥重要作用。近期,中国医药教育协会感染疾病专业委员会发布的《感染相关生物标志物临床意义解读专家共识》客观、全面地介绍了感染相关重要生物标志物。本文就该共识中有关降钙素原检测和应用的相关内容作进一步解读。

Detection of infection-related biomarkers can assist physicians to diagnose disease, so it plays an important role in determining infection type and patient’s prognosis and guiding the use of antibacterial agents. Recently, Expert Consensus on Clinical Signifcance Interpretation of Infection-related Biomarkers was issued by Infectious Disease Professional Committee of Chinese Medical Education Association, in which the important infection-related biomarkers were introduced objectively and comprehensively. The contents related to the detection and application of procalcitonin in this expert consensus were further interpreted in this article.
