摘要
非圆形光纤截面可以是D型、正方形、长方形、八边形等多种形状,这些几何结构使得作为泵浦源或光信号放大的光纤具有高的光光转换效率。非圆形光纤优良的扰模特性可以获得平顶分布的光束,且非圆形光纤焦比退化效应降低,使得光纤的传输效率增大,采用非圆形光纤制成的传像束平均透过率提高,传像效果更真实。非圆形光纤可应用到天文观测、半实物仿真和激光加工等领域,用于高精度视向速度测量、红外目标模拟器、高功率光纤激光器以及高精度激光焊接和切割等。
Non-circular fibers section can be D-type,square,rectangle or octagon,and the non circular geometry makes the fiber as a pump source or optical singal amplification have high light and light conversion efficiency.The non-circular fiber has better scrambling performance and can obtain flat topped beam.The non-circular fiber reduces the focal ratio degradation and improves the transmission efficiency of fiber.The non-circular fiber bundle which has higher average transmittance and more real image is potential in the IR image simulator.Non-circular fibers can be applied to astronomical observation,semi physical simulation and laser processing field,and can be used for high precision veloctiy measurement,infrared target simulator,high power fiber laser and high precision laser welding and cutting.
