摘要
聚苯乙烯泡沫塑料(EPS)因其重量轻、强度大、变形小、耐久性好等优点,被越来越多地用于特殊路基填筑。国内对EPS的强度和变形特性的研究成果很少。文章对EPS的无侧限抗压强度、粘聚力和内摩擦角、剪切强度和摩擦系数进行系统分析。无侧限抗压强度、弹性模量和剪切强度随密度呈线性增加,EPS的粘聚力随密度增加而增加,EPS的内摩擦角很小,近似等于0。三轴试验中,EPS的屈服强度和初始切线模量随围压增加而减小,这种反常现象与EPS独特的结构有关。
Expanded polystyrene(EPS) is widely used as special subgrade filling due to its advantages of light weight, large strength, small deformation and good durability. However, the research about the strength and deformation characteristics of EPS is very few. This paper has systematically analyzed the unconfined compressive strength, cohesion, internal friction angle, shear strength and friction coefficient of EPS. The unconfined compressive strength, elastic modulus and shear strength increase linearly with the density, while the cohesion of EPS also increases with the density. And the internal friction angle of EPS is small, approximately equal to 0. In the triaxial test, the yield strength and initial tangent modulus of EPS decrease as the confining pressure increases, which is related to the unique structure of EPS.
