This paper analyzed the whole process of cross regional revocation of assistant medical practitioner certificate, to provide a reference for handling those cases in which the criminal liability cannot be investigated in accordance with the current law, after the modification of judicial interpretation to dealt with illegal practice. The key links, skills and ideas in the process of handling such cases were described in detail, and related difficulties were discussed in depth. We hope that it can provide some reference and advice for the law enforcement departments to investigate and deal with illegal practice who have medical qualifications
