Could There Be Righteous Remarks in the World? From the Tragedy of“A Chance Acquaintance”to the New Birth of Xinji Da Kung Pao: Focusing on Lin Baishui's Newspaper Running Career and His Words

通过探析林白水的报业经历及其职业思考,特别是其晚年区分"完全政论家"与"报馆记者"的观点,揭示其表征中国新闻事业在20世纪20年代由政党报向独立报过渡的内涵。在此基础上提出,言论贾祸的"萍水相逢"事件和言论独立的新记《大公报》之成立两者间存在着深刻的历史和逻辑关联。

By exploring Lin Baishui＇ s newspaper running career and his professional reflections, esp. his later years＇ views of ＂thorough politician＂ and ＂newspaper studio reporter＂, this paper discovers that all of these marks the connotations of China＇ s journalistic transition in 1920s from political party newspaper to independent newspaper. Based on this discovery, this paper holds that the incident of ＂a chance acquain- tance＂, in which remarks caused misfortunes, has in-depth historical and logic connection with the establish- ing of Xinji Da Kung Pao, which marked independence in remarks.
