What is War and Peace in East Asia and How to Understand It?

关于"东亚的战争与和平"的课题不是仅限于日本、韩国、中国的问题,而是超国界的灾害,是需要世界各国持续关注并引向和平解决轨道的重要问题。战争与和平需要政治、经济、社会、文化、思想、语言等跨学科的综合研究,但目前很难找到关于"战争与和平"的综合视角的研究成果。以多学科视角对战争与和平概念进行分类,在此基础上考察"和平学"与"和解学"的定义,从而理解战争与和平议题,提出和平解决的实践方案。遏制战争的能力越强,实现和平的路程就越近,为此需要实施最大限度地减少阻碍和平要素的战略,避免各种利益构造相冲突的"战争特殊性",在社会经济生活中共享"追求和平的普遍理念"。

The purpose of this paper is to analyze war and peace discourse of Japan in East Asian order based on integrated and interdisciplinary perspectives. The study of "War and Peace in East Asia"notes that its discourse is a transnational disaster not only to regional states such as Japan,Korea and China,but also to many countries around the world to have a constant attention and take the lead for peace. First,it raises a critical necessity of inter-disciplinary research that crosses political,economic,social,cultural,ideological,and linguistic aspects of war and peace. As we all know,the discussion on "war and peace"is active in terms of politics,economics,and international relation in addition to history( history of war),ideology,culture,and literature. Nonetheless,it is difficult to find the previous research( literatures) that analyzes it based on the integrated perspective. Second,the paper classifies war and peace based on various discussions or perspectives to define "peace studies"and "conciliation studies",and reviews each agenda or type of study to examine howthey are understood. Third,the paper suggests a practical plan for understanding the discourse of peace and war properly and the way( method or process) to forward a path to peace. Considering that as the deterrence of war becomes stronger,the path to peace becomes closer as a result,it is necessary to open the road to "peace"based on strategy to minimize its obstacles. If so,howto share"universal ideals pursuing peace( safety) "in socio-economic life is more important than "peculiarity of war"in which various profit structures are collide.
