伴随着经济的快速增长和城市建设的高速发展，近二十年来，以旧城改造为代表的城市拆迁工作一直是城市建设和发展的重点和难点。在旧的管理模式下，拆迁矛盾及其带来的社会问题，一直困扰着城市管理者，城市拆迁也被誉为当今中国的“头号难题”。有别于多数从社会学和城市规划管理学角度进行的研究，本文主要从经济学的角度，展开对旧域改造的研究综述，以曹家巷改造为例，通过文献调查和研究综合分析，对其展开研究，并且希望以此能为以后旧城改造的研究提供可建设性的建议。
