Application of PVC-coated Fiberglass Fabric in Fashion Design

文章着力于PVC玻纤布在服装设计中的应用研究,以《雾里探花》系列服装作品设计创作为例,利用PVC玻纤布具有透光、防水以及热塑且在一定条件下会与一些物质发生化学反应的特性,辅以手绘、夹层绘画、立体花、腐蚀等工艺手法,并借鉴中国传统手工艺丝绢画的工艺及中国古典园林意境美的表达,对PVC玻纤布进行服装设计的应用研究。

This paper mainly discusses the application of PVCcoated fiberglas fabric in fashion design by taking the collection titled ＂seeing ？owers through a mist＂ as example. By making use of the characteristics of PVCcoated fiberglass fabric, such as transparent, waterproof and thermalplastic properties and may occur chemical reaction with some substances under certain conditions, with the help of hand painting, interlayer painting, embossing and etchedout techniques and by borrowing the expression forms of Chinese traditional hand painting on silk and classical garden, the collection makes a good attempt to applying PVCcoated fiberglass fabric in fashion design.
