Reference service specification is the guideline of the reference service of library,and it is crucial to the development of reference service.In order to bring beneficial reference and enlightenment to our related work,this paper analyzes foreign libraries’ service specification from five aspects of librarian qualification,answering strategy,time commitment,legal issue and cooperation.
