章太炎对周氏兄弟早期文学翻译之影响——以《域外小说集》为例

The influence to the literature translation of Zhou Brothers by Zhang Taiyan—taking The Collections of Short Stories from Overseas as the example

东京留学期间,周氏兄弟曾师从章太炎,并深受其思想的影响。章太炎的"文学复古"思想,不仅拓宽了周氏兄弟的文学视野,而且影响了他们的早期文学翻译风格和翻译方法的形成,这种影响在《域外小说集》中体现得最为明显。鲁迅在早期的文学翻译中追求文风古朴,周作人崇尚"名从主人",周氏兄弟的文学翻译成就在一定程度上与章太炎的影响密不可分。

During the period of studying abroad in Tokyo, Zhou brothers followed Zhang Taiyan as their teacher, and deeply influenced by his thoughts. Zhang's "literary restoration" thought not only broadened the literary vision of the Zhou brothers, but also influenced their early translation style and the formation of translation methods, especially in The Colections of Short Stories from Overseas. In the early literary translation, Lu Xun pursues the style of being traditional and simple, and Zhou Zuoren admires the "name translation by its original", the achievements of the literature translation of Zhou brothers can never be separated from the "literature restoration" by Zhang Taiyan.
