The Force of Awaking Labor——A Deficiency of Study Purpose of New Cultural Movement

目前中国处于转型期,文化多元化碰撞,对新文化运动进行反思,从中汲取有利于当代中国发展的精神元素很有必要。新文化运动的主旨是对生产方式变化的文化层面的思考。劳动作为人的本质的体现,在私有制条件下却一直处在异化的状态,民主与科学的口号提倡人人平等,由此唤醒了劳动者渴望平等的本能。劳动问题的根源在于人性的扶正,劳动者要争取做人的权利与人的本质力量的显现,解决劳动问题要唤醒劳动的力量,劳动者要平等自由地联合起来制定自己的制度去获取自己的应得,重建劳动世界。要坚持民主、遵循科学,使人的劳动的力量充分展现,在民主和科学的融合下,促使社会良性发展。

At present, China is in the transitional period and different cultures are in collision and fusion. It is neces- sary to reflect the May 4th New Culture Movement and draw its spiritual elements that will benefit China＇s contemporary development. The purpose of May 4th New Culture Movement is to consider the cultural aspects of productive mode chan- ges. Labor, as the representation of human nature, was in the state of alienation in private ownership society. Democracy and science advocates that every man is equal, and awakes laborers~ equality instinct. The root of labor problem lies in the readdress of human nature, and laborers~ right and human＇s nature should be presented. To solve the labor＇s problem is to awake labor＇s force, and laborers should unite together to establish their own system and achieve what they should have. It is essential to stick to democracy, respect science, fully demonstrate man＇s labor force so that society can develop well.
