高等职业教育英语教学与学习的问题发现与建议——基于高职高专英语能力测评现状和需求调查

Reflections and Suggestions on English Teaching and Learning in Higher Vocational Education: Based on a Survey on the Status Quo and Reform Needs of Foreign Language Testing in Higher Vocational Colleges

2016年,教育部职业教育与成人司和教育部考试中心对我国122所高职高专院校开展了高职高专英语能力测评现状和需求调查。调查发现:高职高专学生普遍缺乏英语学习兴趣和自主学习能力;听说能力是高职高专学生最希望提升的语言能力;英语学习时间不足,英语学习方式单调,已严重影响高等职业教育英语教学目标的实现;分级教学难以实现,形成性评价难以开展。基于上述发现和问题,本文提出加强综合英语和行业英语并重的英语教学模式,推动高职高专英语学习不断线;加强听说教学力度,利用考试的积极反拨作用促进学生听说能力的提高;整体规划我国英语教育,积极推进国家外语能力测评体系建设,构建形成性评价和终结性评价合理结合和平衡发展的高职高专英语评价体系的改革建议。

In 2016, Department of vocational education and adult education of Ministry of Education, and National Education Examinations Authority carried out a survey on the status quo and reform needs of foreign language testing in higher vocational colleges. The survey finds that： （1） Vocational college students are generally lacking English- learning interests and self-learning ability; （2） Listening and speaking are the English skills students are most eager to improve; （3） The problems of insufficient English learning time and methods have seriously affected students＇ English learning achievement; （4） Level-based English teaching and formative assessment is difficult to carry out. Based on the findings, this paper puts forward suggestions on how to improve English teaching and learning in higher vocational colleges.
