Although Virginia Woolf, in her works, exhibited her views on feminism and class consciousness, most of her researchers believe her husband's view of her as "the least political animal that has lived since Aristotle invented the definition" because they think that she did not receive school education, neither did she participate in any social movement. Therefore, they conclude that her feminism and class consciousness are only limited in her texts. However, the writer of this paper discovers that Virginia Woolf studied at the Ladies Department of King's College London, participated in women's movements and supported movements of the working class. This paper aims to supplement Virginia Woolfs biographies with political movements she had participated in, attempt to represent a real Virginia Woolf in history, and explore the close link between her political consciousness in the texts and the political movements in which she was involved in the real world.
