《伯罗奔尼撒战争史》是修昔底德"垂诸永远"的作品。卷一是集中展示作者主体思想的地方,内容丰富,分析精到,所用的"论证体",主题清晰,证据合理,与卷二及以下各卷的"叙事体"形成鲜明的区别,带有明显的"一家之言"的性质。
Thucydides＇ History of the Peloponnesian War is a work lasting forever. The author＇s main ideas concentratedly displayed in Volume I,and it is a rich part,besides,the author analyzed the history very closely in this part. With the writing mode called ＂argumentation style＂,the subject of the book is illuminated with reliable evidence,and this style is in deep contrast with the narrative style in the following part of the book. Thucydides＇ own opinion is illuminated in Volume I.
