基于双语语料库的数据驱动大学英语翻译教学模式探讨

Research on College English Translation Teaching Based on the Driving of Bi-lingual Corpus Data

本研究以数据驱动学习理念为支撑,以大学英语四六级翻译为主要原语料构建英汉双语平行语料库,结合杭州电子科技大学信息工程学院三本非英语专业学生大学英语翻译教学改革个案研究,探讨其在教学过程中的具体实施策略,主要包括英汉语料库的自建,语料库使用培训,课堂内外引导式教学等。运用计算机编程技术,创建一个基于校园网的英汉双语平行语料库的在线教学平台,并以此提出了新的翻译教学模式,希望更好地为大学英语翻译教学改革提供个案参考。

Based on data-driven learning theory,the present study attempts to construct an English-Chinese parallel corpus with the original data from translation questions in CET4/6. The study probes into the specific strategies of corpus-based teaching,combined with the case study of college English teaching reform for non-English majors from School of Information Engineering in Hangzhou Dianzi University. These strategies mainly include the construction of English-Chinese parallel corpus,training of the corpus use,the teaching guidance in and out of classroom and so on. Employing computer programming techniques, this study establishes a web-based on-line translation teaching platform and further puts forward a new translation teaching model,hoping to offer a better case reference for the reform of college English translation teaching.
