大学精神培育对大学职能实践困境的现实关照

Realistic Benefits of University Spirit Cultivation for Improving the Plight in Implementing University Functions

人类文明长期积淀而成的大学三大基本职能,被中国大学广为接受的同时,在当代出现了实践困境。大学职能实践困境的出现,与大学精神的缺失不可分割。大学精神是医治教学浮躁的良药,是推动科学创新的动力源泉,是服务社会的传感器。当前,为扭转大学基本职能的落实困境,要在理论层面加深对大学精神的认识,要以制度建设培育大学精神,要在《大学章程》完善的过程中筑牢大学的精神围墙。

The three major functions of universities,shaped in the long history of human civilization and widely acknowledged by China＇s universities,are found to be in the plight of implementation,which is inevitably due to the absence of university spirit.University spirit is a good medicine for the fickleness in teaching,is a driving force for scientific innovation,and is a sensor of public service.At present,the plight in implementing university functions can be improved in three ways：deepening the theoretical understanding of university spirit;cultivating university spirit through institutional construction;building solid spiritual walls for universities in the course of improving University Codes.
