Esterification cycle compressor is very important in the process of ethylene glycol production. The commissioning will directly influence the whole operation of ethylene glycol unit. This paper illustrates the possible problems which may occur during the commissioning of esterification cycle compressor,and also provides several measures as well as corresponding effects. Several suggestions about the installation, commissioning and operation of the units are put forward.
