今天当我们用日本"考现学之父"今和次郎创立的考现的方法来研究我们城市的一个局部的时候,我们会在数字以及图像的背后看到一个陌生或者困顿的城市变迁、更迭的城市发展史,它能让我们更加清楚地认识到我们生长、生活的城市在现象背后承载的故事或者事件,也许还有遗忘。研究它不是苛求一种结果,而是让它发展得更好。

When we study a certain part of a city using the method of mordernology, we will see the urban development history of a strange or confused city that has undergone changes. This method can enable us to more clearly understand stories and incidents about cities where we grow up and live. What we do is not to require a result but to make cities become better.
