党的十九大报告,以不忘初心、牢记使命为主线,不仅全面系统总结了十八大以来党和国家发展事业取得的历史性成就与宝贵经验,进一步指明了党和国家事业的前进方向,成为我们党团结带领全国各族人民在新时代坚持和发展中国特色社会主义的政治宣言和行动纲领,更是一篇21世纪中国马克思主义思想创新的光辉文献。其中,最大亮点和最突出的理论贡献就是明确提出"新时代中国特色社会主义思想"。这一思想,郑重作出了中国特色社会主义进入新时代的重大论断,深刻揭示了我国社会主要矛盾发生变化的新特点,对新时代中国特色社会主义思想主题作出了新概括,明确了在决胜全面小康社会基础上用两个15年分两步走全面建设社会主义现代化国家的新目标,提出了新时代党的建设的新要求。新时代原创新思想,开辟新境界,肩负新使命,成为新时代党和国家建设中国特色社会主义伟大事业的指导思想。

The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China focuses on the central theme of ＂Remaining true to our original aspiration, and keeping our mission firmly in mind＂, which not only comprehensively and systematically.summarizes the historic achievements and valuable experiences made by the Party and the country in the cause of development since the 18th CPC National Congress, but also further points out the direction of progress for the Par- ty and the country, hence has become the political declaration and program of action for the Party to unite and lead the peo- ple of all ethnic groups in China in upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era. Further- more, it is also a glorious document in the innovation of Chinese Marxist thought in the 21st century. Among others, the greatest highlight and the most prominent theoretical contribution is to clearly put forward the ＂Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era＂. This thought makes asignificant conclusion that socialism with Chinese character- istics has entered a new era. It has profoundly revealed the new characteristics of the changes in major social contradictions in China, and completely summed up the theme of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era. It also clearly de- fines the new goal of comprehensively building a modern socialist country in two stages on the basis of building a moderately prosperous society, as well as new requirements for Party building in the new era. In the new era, it has become a guiding ideology for the Party and the country to build the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics by generating new thoughts, broadening new vision, and shouldering new missions.
