以散见的文献资料和出土实物为参考,对民间统称的"染缬"所包含的绞缬、蜡缬、夹缬和灰缬的传统印花工艺做一系统的辨析,梳理传统印染工艺的流变和技术特征,阐释其承续于当代的发展价值。

Based on literature and unearthed remains, this dissertation is to analyze entire traditional technologies of dyeing, which includes tie-dye, batik, clamp resist dyeing, and Ash valerian. It then summarizes the developing process and features of this printing technology and to illustrate its heritage value for contemporary development.
