摘要
蛋白质的结构决定蛋白质的功能,结构域(domain)是蛋白质序列中具有独立功能的区域,而发挥功能的区域在结构上通常是保守的.根据Swiss-Prot建立亚核定位蛋白数据集,分为6个亚核区域共1505条蛋白质序列,对该数据集中的核蛋白进行结构域的搜索与功能的分析,通过提取细胞核内6种亚核定位蛋白含有的结构域信息,找到了染色体、核仁和核膜区域蛋白质的独特的结构域以及6种亚核定位蛋白共有的结构域,这些结构域特征信息可用于进一步预测蛋白质的亚核定位.
The function of protein is determined by its structure. A domain is a region with inde- pendent functions in a protein sequence,and the functional region is often structurally conservative. The dataset of subnuclear localization proteins is constructed based on the Swiss-Prot database. This dataset contains 1505 protein sequences in total and can be classified into 6 subnuclear regions. Do- mains and their functions of these nucleoproteins are searched and analyzed. By extracting the do- main information contained in 6 subnuclear locations of proteins in nuclei,the unique domain of re- gional proteins in chromosome, nucleolus and nuclear membrane and same domains within the 6 subnuclear locations of nuclear proteins are found. All the information related to domain features could be further used to predict the subnuclear location of proteins.
