The paper introduces the technology of water handling in the construction of a deep buried soft rock highway tunnel,including tunnel waterproof and drainage measures and construction methods of the waterproof materials,and the the solutions to the common problems of waterproof and drainage in the tunnel construction,to further improve soft rock highway tunnel waterproof and drainage construction,so as to guarantee the quality of soft rock highway tunnel.
