束皙《饼赋》作于其闲居乡里之时。赋文介绍了魏晋时饼的种类,重点描述了牢丸的做法。相对于汉赋以描写京殿苑囿为主而言,《饼赋》体现出选材生活化,内容俚俗,笔调夸张、幽默,语言浅显质朴、不事绮丽的特色。

Shu Xi wrote Cake Fu when he stayed idly at home. In this piece of Fu,he introduced the caketypes in the Wei and Jin dynasties and described the way of making steamed cakes. Different from thedescription of the halls,gardens and farms in the capital of Fu in the Han dynasty,the Cake Fu had life-basedtheme,vulgar content,exaggerated and humor style,simple and plain language.
