摘要
采用合理的供液方式对提高全钒液流电池系统层面效率至关重要。基于实验室自制的全钒液流单电池及相关设备搭建测试平台,设计并进行了恒流充放电工作模式下的脉动供液实验。测试结果表明:与连续供液方式相比,采用脉动供液能够明显减少泵的能耗(超过80%),且电池能量效率基本保持不变(仅下降5%)。该研究对于提高全钒液流电池系统层面的效率具有重要的参考价值。
Proper control strategy for electrolyte flow in VRB is vital in order to achieve high system level efficiency.Using the experimental platform set up with an in-house single cell VRB and other related equipment, the experiment of pulsating electrolyte flow into battery at constant current was designed and conducted. The experimental results indicate that the novel pulsating electrolyte flow strategy results in high energy efficiency of 84.4% with the pumping consumption of over 80%, implying that adopting such a flow strategy can improve the system level efficiency of the VRB.
