基于SCI论文的医学中心城市学术成果比较分析

Comparative analysis of academic achievements of medical center cities based on SCI papers

目的基于SCI论文比较13座城市的医学学术成果,分析北京和上海的现状和发展趋势,为其建设医学中心城市提供参考。方法在Web of Science科学引文索引扩展数据库中,收集第一作者地址在入选的13座城市的SCI论文,对其数量、影响因子总和、篇均影响因子等指标进行统计分析。结果各城市总体比较中,波士顿、伦敦、纽约的论文数量、影响因子总和稳定地排在前三,北京、上海排名上升速度较快。各城市分学科比较中,波士顿、伦敦、纽约的基础医学、临床医学、预防医学与卫生学优势明显,北京、上海的药学有优势。北京、上海的优势学科多为新兴学科或者医学边缘学科。结论北京、上海医学学术成果与波士顿、伦敦、纽约还有较大差距,但增长速度较快,应保持整体上升趋势,对排名较靠后和呈下降趋势的学科进行原因分析,采取措施促进弱势学科的发展。

Objective To compare the medical achievements of 13 cities based on SCI Papers,to analyze the current situation and development trend of Beijing and Shanghai,and to provide reference for the construction of medical center city.Methods SCI papers which the first author’s address located in 13 cities were collected through the Web of Science Citation Index Extension Database.Statistical analyses were conducted on the number of publication,the summation of impact factors,the average impact factor and other indicators.Results In the overall comparison,Boston,London,New York ranked stably among the top three in terms of publication number and impact factors summation.The ranking of Beijing and Shanghai improved faster.In the sub-discipline comparison,the basic medicine,clinical medicine and prevention medicine of Boston,London and New York showed obvious advantages.Shanghai and Beijing had greater advantage in pharmacy.The dominant disciplines of Beijing and Shanghai were mostly emerging disciplines or medical edge disciplines.Conclusion There is a big gap in medical academic achievements between Beijing,Shanghai and the leading cities such as Boston,London and New York.But they are improving at a fast rate and it is better for them to maintain the overall upward trend.Through analysis for the poor ranking and the descending disciplines,these cities are suggested to take measures to promote the development of the weak disciplines.
