民国时期,作为所谓"三民主义模范省"的山西吸引了八方来客游览或考察。在诸多游人之中,尤属当时一大批各学科和各领域内的知名学者最为引人瞩目,且大多曾留下丰富的文字记录,这些珍贵史料不仅使他们有别于普通游客,而且一定程度上也赋予其文化价值和历史意义。也就是说,学者们当年在晋期间的纪闻构成观照民国时期山西历史风物的另一种视角。透过解读这些文字,或将有助于今人增进对于近现代山西社会变迁和民情风俗的理解、体认。

During the Republic of China, as the so- called ＂Three Principles of the People＇s Model Province＂, Shanxi attracted many visitors,visiting, stoping or inspecting. Among these many visitors, a large number of prominent scholars in various disciplines and fields especially attracted people＇s attention, and most have left a wealth of written records, these precious historical datas were not only different from ordinary tourists, and also gives its cultural value and historical significance to a certain extent. In other words, scholars＇ Ji Wen in Shanxi constituted another perspective viewed the scenery of Shanxi in the period of Republic of China. Through the interpretation of these words,it will contribute to recognizing and understanding social change in modern Shanxi and customs.
