Viewing Superfluous Negation from the Angle of Language Subjectivity

主观性是冗余否定构式的特征之一。从情感上来说,冗余否定比常规形式更能表达说话人强烈的主观情感;从认识上来说,与常规形式相比,冗余否定的主观性在于它是说话人进行主观减量或增量的语言表现;从视角上来说,相对于常规形式,冗余否定构式体现说话人视角的变化。在言语交际中,冗余否定因其主观性特征,较相应的肯定形式而言,有时能更好地维护听话人的积极面子。

Subjectivity is one of the features of superfluous negation.From the point of speakers' affection,superfluous negation can express stronger feeling than the common one.From the point of speakers' epistemic status,the subjectivity of superfluous negation shows speakers do reduction or increment subjectively compared with the common one.From the point of speakers' perspective,superfluous negation shows perspective changes of speakers.During the verbal communication,superfluous negation sometimes can save listeners' face better than the common one because of its subjectivity.
