The topology study of rough sets has significance, and the approximate topology exhibits a bidirectional approximation to the classical topology. In this paper, the approximate closure based on the approximate topology is investigated. First, the approximate open set is defined to establish an approximate topology, and then the approximate closed set is established. Based on the approximate closed set, the approximate closure is defined to achieve its basic properties, and the inclusion-order relationships between the approximate closure and the closure, closure approximation, approximation closure are analyzed. The approximate closure deepens the approximate topology, and realizes the approximation and expansion for the classical closure.
