After the Marco Polo Bridge Incident,Islam in inland Japan boomed to its peak when a number of Muslim institutions dominated by the government and the military were established. Around 1938,several institutions related to "Islam Campaign"like Islamic Circle Institution,Dainippon Islamic Association, and Muslim Investigation Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs were established. At the same time, these institutions published many relevant magazines such as Kaikyouken,Kaikyou Sekai, and Kaikyou Jijyou, representing the trends and concerns of Islam and muslims' Campaign in Japan. The establishment of these institutions manifested the implementation of tactics Japanese "Islam Campaign"with inveigling as its aim and propaganda as its means in both Japan's territory in occupation and its colonies. However,"Islam Campaign"as a crucial component of Japanese "policies toward Asia",is slighter than it was advertised in its substance and effect as well.
