Medication characteristics of TCM master XUAN Guo-wei

文章介绍了禤国维教授临床遣方用药的独特思路。禤老强调理法方药的辨证论治过程,开方用药要有理论基础,并认为传统要与现代相结合,要充分利用现代药理研究,善用岭南特色中草药、虫类药,精于配伍,善组药对,临床疗效显著。

In this paper, we introduce the unique thought of Prof. Guowei Xuan on the clinical prescriptions. On the one hand, Xuan stresses the syndrome differentiation and treatment according to the four aspects： theory, method, formula and herbs, be- lieves there is theoretical basis of prescribing. On the other hand, Xuan argues the traditional medicine must be combined with the modern medicine and believes that taking full advantage of the modern pharmacological researches is necessary. Xuan is good at u- sing the Chinese herbal medicine and insect drugs of the south of the five ridges, specializing at herbal matching and using pairs of herbal, which makes a remarkable clinical curative effect.
