艺术治疗是艺术经验的有机组成部分,艺术治疗是艺术研究的重要视角。宗教艺术作为宗教信仰与实践的具体形式之一,具有疗愈身心疾患的功能。云南彝族宗教艺术运用图像、音乐沟通意识与无意识、建构神话世界、建立积极信仰,应对疾病、死亡、灾害等带来的恐惧、焦虑、分裂、绝望和悲痛。云南彝族宗教艺术治疗的一般原理有四个,分别是意识状态的改变,神圣治疗时空的创造,象征符号的交流作用,积极想象和戏剧化共鸣。

Art therapy is an integral part of artistic experience, is an important perspective of art research. As one of the concrete forms of religious belief and practice, religious art has the function of healing physical and mental disorders. The image and music in the religious art of Yi nationality in Yunnan can communicate awareness and unconscious, construct mythical world, establish positive beliefs, thus coping with the fear, anxiety, division, despair and grief of negative energy that caused by disease, death, and disaster. There are four general principles of religious art therapy of Yi nationality in Yunnan province： altered states of con- sciousness, creation on divine time and space in healing, effect in exchange of symbols, active imagination and dramatic resonance
